The Masters of Hawaiian Music outshined the other comedians, as they were not as funny. We love the new jokes Kevin Hart delivered in this show (Y’all New Jokes!). Perhaps the pandemic-induced break allowed him to gather more life experiences to write about. Kevin is at his best when he incorporates his family and life into his comedy, resulting in relatable and hilarious moments that had us in tears. My side was hurting from laughing.
Despite the sad news of his dad's passing, we appreciate Kevin's stories just as much as those from the Masters of Hawaiian Music. My daughter gifted my husband and me tickets to this show, and we were so impressed by Kevin's humor that she regretted not being there with us. Laughter was much needed by all of us, and the moment when he appeared with the bat nearly caused me to collapse from laughter. Welcome back, Kevin, and thank you for bringing the joy we needed post-pandemic!
One slight criticism would be the delay in starting the show, so it would be beneficial to have a DJ to keep the audience engaged.
